Our Vet

Alexander Bowman is a leading veterinary surgeon and passionate animal lover. Having graduated from the University of Nottingham in 2015 he has not only worked in a variety of practices from referral to charity, but he has also had experience working and teaching around the world in countries such as Sri Lanka, Cyprus and Australia.

Currently, Alex is a veterinary surgeon in the British Army, holding the rank of Captain, and is truly devoted to the wellbeing of a wide variety of service animals, from horses on ceremonial duties to bomb disposal dogs.

Alex felt such strong affinity with our values and mission to really improve the lives of our favourite furry friends that he has come on board as our in-house expert. All our products have been reviewed and approved by Alex, having looked at all the clinical evidence and the research papers.

Alex is also a keen sportsman, having recently spent 2 years as a full-time athlete training with the World Class Programme for Modern Pentathlon at the University of Bath in the lead up to the Tokyo 2020 Olympics. Aside from that, Alex will turn his hand to any challenge whether building a wooden shed in his garden or ambitious to swim the channel.

Alex will be answering your personal questions each week so be sure to ‘Ask Alex’ by sending us a message on socials or an email to hello@vetrition.co.uk.
